The Private Collection provides superior levels of personalized customer service to both our Customers as well as to our Consignors. We maintain a very high standard on all items we accept. Thus, your merchandise is arranged alongside other high quality and unique items. We believe this maximizes the value you receive from your consignments.
We price our merchandise in a variety of ways using, when necessary, experts in their field and other available information to provide a reasonable price which reflects the quality, condition, and uniqueness of each piece. We confirm the price with the Consignor prior to placing the item on our Gallery floor. Although the majority of our pieces sell at list price, we reflect our Consignors any bona fide, reasonable offers we receive for their consideration.
We believe strongly that consignors must receive their net sales proceeds in a timely fashion. Accordingly, TWICE A MONTH, we mail our Consignors the net amount of the sales proceeds on their items which have sold in the previous two weeks.
The Private Collection welcomes high-end furniture and accessories into our Gallery. Items must be in excellent condition, with very minimal signs of wear or chipping. We can work with Consignors to provide professional touch-up and adjustments. We do not refurbish merchandise.
The best way for us to view your furniture and accessories is to contact us to schedule an appointment to discuss the items you wish to consign. We prefer to see the items in your home and we schedule appointments to do so 7 days a week. Once we have seen your items and we have discussed preliminary pricing with you, we use a professional delivery service when necessary (at your expense), to transport your items to our Gallery.
